Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Automotive Technician specializing in Honda and Nissan vehicles to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring our customers' vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Duties Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and schematics, focusing on Honda and Nissan models. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, suspension system repairs, and wheel alignments to keep vehicles in top condition. Repair mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, and electrical systems with precision and attention to detail. Conduct specialized repairs on diesel engines, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, shocks & struts, and other complex components. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes to accurately identify issues and implement effective solutions. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks, and ensure all work meets dealership quality standards while providing excellent customer service. Requirements Proven dealership experience with Honda or Nissan vehicles is highly preferred; but not required. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, mechanical repair techniques, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Experience working with automotive diagnostics tools, schematics, ADAS calibration equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics is desirable. Ability to perform transmission repair, powertrain servicing, wheel alignment, suspension repair (including shocks & struts), brake repair, oil changes, tire service, and welding tasks effectively. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, mechanical systems repair equipment, and auto estimating software. Valid certification or license in automotive repair; ASE certification is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
