Automotive Master Technician Rad Air - 3.3 Seven Hills, OH Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Automotive Master Technician In addition to being our most seasoned diagnosticians, Automotive Master Technicians at Rad Air also serve as leaders and mentors within the bays, directing the flow of a shop's repair work and acting as a knowledge leader for less experienced technicians.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnose check engine lights and other malfunction indicator light issues. Perform advanced electrical testing and repairs. Perform digital vehicle inspections and diagnostics to address client concerns. Document results of inspections and diagnostics using TekMetric shop software. Provide mentorship and training to less experienced technicians during day-to-day operations. Service vehicles as directed by replacing/repairing parts, or performing regular and preventative maintenance services. Maintain consistent communication with the Service Manager to ensure completion of repair work meets client expectations. Utilize shop equipment to perform fluid exchanges, wheel/tire balancing, ADAS calibrations, and alignments. Observe and follow all necessary safety guidelines and regulations when operating machinery, equipment, and tools. Maintain Rad Air's clean workspace and shop standards at all times.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Minimum six (6) years experience as an automotive technician. Clean driving record.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
An Associate's degree in Automotive Technology is highly desired but not a requirement. ASE certifications are highly desirable but not a requirement.
