ResponsibilitiesPerforms diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance for client companies and dealership vehicles.
Fully understands and carries out repair orders as dispatched.
Conducts full inspection, diagnosis, and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
Performs quality control checks to ensure repairs are completed.
Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules.
Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs.
Communicates effectively with Service Advisor and Parts department personnelParticipates in company and Ford Certification training and education to further develop expertise. Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredPost-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experienceOne year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferredBroad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledgeUnrestricted driver's license and clean driving recordExcellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stressExcellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staffHighly professional and dependableSafety and customer service orientedBasic computer and internet skillsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
