Full-Time All Star CDJR is looking for an experienced Phase 3 Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our Service Department. We are seeking a skilled technician who is confident diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues and can perform advanced mechanical work accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using appropriate diagnostic equipment and procedures Perform advanced repairs on engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking, cooling, fuel, and electrical systems Troubleshoot check-engine lights, warning lights, electrical concerns, and performance issues Perform engine and transmission repairs and component replacement as assigned Complete scheduled maintenance and manufacturer-recommended services Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify needed or recommended repairs Accurately document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and additional recommendations on repair orders Use diagnostic scanners, specialty tools, service information, and technical resources effectively Perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards Verify repairs through testing and road tests when appropriate Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area Communicate with service advisors and management regarding vehicle diagnosis, repair progress, parts needs, and additional concerns Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and workplace safety procedures Qualifications Previous professional automotive repair experience required Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills Experience performing advanced automotive repairs Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems rather than relying solely on component replacement Ability to read wiring diagrams, service information, technical bulletins, and repair procedures Familiarity with modern automotive diagnostic equipment and scan tools Ability to work independently and efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Must have appropriate automotive tools necessary to perform assigned work Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram experience is a plus Stellantis training or certifications are a plus ASE certifications are preferred but not required What We're Looking For We're looking for more than someone who can perform basic maintenance.
