Our applicants must exhibit a strong work ethic and be able to provide supporting references. John Deere experience is preferred. Related experience required. We service and repair John Deere Wheel Loaders, Backhoes, Motor Graders, Excavators, Crawler Dozers, Articulated Dump Trucks, and many other types of equipment used throughout the construction and agricultural industry. Purpose:
Independently perform in-field equipment diagnostics and repairs by operating a mobile service vehicle and traveling to customer locations. Candidates require a strong work ethic to complete a task efficiently with minimal supervision. Individual will serve as an in-field representative for the dealership to provide service solutions. Communication skills required to clearly articulate aspects of work being performed to a customer in a courteous and effective manner.

Service Manager Job Essential Duties:
Accurately diagnoses and repairs John Deere Construction and Forestry equipment as well as other various brands of equipment supported by Yellowhouse Machinery in the field. Rebuilds or replaces various types of powertrain and hydraulic components including engines, transmissions, axles, control valves, hydraulic pumps etc. Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while on duty and at customer jobsites. Promotes and adheres to company policy at all times with emphasis on a team mentality. Promotes customer service at all times throughout the organization. Aligns with safety compliance per company policy as well as customer specific safety compliance if required at customer job sites. Maintains a clean work environment and properly care for company vehicle, and specialty tools provided by the company. Participates in a positive and relationship building work environment alongside coworkers in Service, Sales, and Parts departments. Ensures that company's reputation and image in the community is consistent with company Core Values. Executes other duties as assigned by management. Benefits Employer Paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401K, and PTO. Requirements CDL Is required. Basic computer skills to efficiently utilize service and parts support programs. Ability to maintain and create accurate and comprehensive service reports on tasks performed during service or repair. Maintain a clean driving record to operate company vehicles. Must have advanced knowledge of troubleshooting electrical, hydraulics and power train components. Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Willingness to participate in company paid training as required. Must possess personal hand and pneumatic tools to perform diagnostic, service and repair work on heavy equipment. Must be self-driven and organized and can perform efficiently while working independently.
