We are seeking an experienced Auto Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles across a variety of makes and models. You should be detail-oriented, able to work independently and in a team setting, and committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. Key Responsibilities Perform accurate diagnostics and troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical issues Conduct repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, drive belts, emissions systems, and more Utilize specialized equipment and tools to perform inspections and adjustments Ensure proper documentation of services performed and customer communication regarding vehicle condition Follow industry standards and shop protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment Stay up to date with new automotive technologies and procedures Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience as an auto technician ASE certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including emissions, drive belts, and power steering systems Ability to work with diagnostic tools such as scan tools and repair databases Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods Must have your own tools
