Shop Foreman - Lead 9-12 Technicians | Up to $160K+ Potential | Veteran-Owned Advanced Facility Clackamas, OR | 16,000 sq. ft. Modern Facility | Leadership Role | Flexible Scheduling (Mon-Sat) Are You a Proven Shop Leader Ready to Run a High-Performance Team? Town Center Automotive is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman capable of leading 9-12 technicians and two apprentices in a fast-growing, high-production facility. This is not a basic technician role. The Foreman is responsible for technical leadership, shop productivity, quality control, training, and operational excellence. We are a veteran-owned, full-service automotive facility in Clackamas with one of the most well-equipped shops in the region.

Compensation and Pay Structure $50-$60+ per hour equivalent compensation depending on experience and certifications $140,000-$160,000+ annual earning potential Production and shop performance bonuses Leadership incentives tied to productivity and quality Weekly pay with consistent workflow Tool allowance and recognition bonuses 401(k) with 3.5% company match Leadership Responsibilities The Shop Foreman serves as the technical and operational leader of the shop floor.
Primary responsibilities include:
Team Leadership Lead, coach, and mentor 9-12 technicians and two apprentices Train technicians on diagnostics, workflow efficiency, and quality standards Support ASE certification development across the team Foster accountability and high-performance culture Technical Oversight Assist with advanced diagnostics and complex drivability concerns Provide second-level diagnostic support for technicians Maintain high repair accuracy and minimal comebacks Productivity and Workflow Work closely with the Service Manager and Advisors Maintain strong shop throughput and efficiency Monitor technician productivity and quality metrics Ensure proper repair procedures and safety standards Quality Control Verify major repairs and diagnostic processes Maintain consistent shop standards Protect the shop's reputation through accurate repairs Benefits That Actually Matter Health, Dental & Vision Insurance (50%+ employer paid) Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Protected Leave Up to 120 hours PTO after 5 years Paid uniforms Employee discounts on parts and labor Shop-provided tools and diagnostic equipment (over 400 specialty tools available) Advanced Shop Environment Town Center Automotive operates a 16,000 sq. ft. modern repair facility designed for efficiency and professionalism.

Requirements 10+ years of professional automotive repair experience ASE certifications preferred (Master Tech strongly encouraged) Strong diagnostic and drivability expertise Proven ability to lead technicians and manage workflow Experience mentoring or supervising technicians High level of professionalism, accountability, and integrity This role is intended for top-tier technicians ready to lead a professional team.
