Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our family owned & operated auto repair shop. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Responsibilities Answer phones. Schedule Appointments. Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Explain recommended services clearly, including auto diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire service, brake repair, suspension work, and transmission repairs. Prepare detailed auto estimates using service writing software and upsell additional services when appropriate to enhance vehicle performance and safety. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards. Manage cash handling transactions accurately and process payments efficiently. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote ongoing automotive maintenance needs. Maintain thorough records of service orders, customer interactions, and vehicle histories to support ongoing customer relationships. Experience Previous experience or auto service management background is highly preferred, but willing to train the right motivated individual.
