Harper Ford / Kia in Belle Vernon is looking for an Experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing Fixed Operations team. If you know how to take care of customers, communicate effectively with technicians, build professional repair orders and maximize legitimate service opportunities, we want to talk with you. We're looking for an experienced advisor who understands that great service advising is about more than writing repair orders. It's about building trust, communicating clearly and creating customers for life.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Greet service customers and establish their vehicle needs Build professional relationships with customers Prepare accurate repair orders Document customer concerns clearly for technicians Review recommended maintenance and repair needs Explain repairs in clear, understandable terms Provide accurate service and repair estimates Obtain customer authorization for recommended work Communicate regularly with customers regarding vehicle status Coordinate workflow with technicians and the service department Monitor repair progress and promised completion times Communicate parts and scheduling issues when necessary Review completed repairs before vehicle delivery Present maintenance and repair recommendations professionally Identify legitimate additional service opportunities Follow up with customers after completed repairs Maintain strong customer satisfaction and retention Help maximize service department productivity and profitability Maintain accurate documentation throughout the repair process

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum 2 years of automotive Service Advisor experience Dealership Service Advisor experience strongly preferred Ford or Kia experience is a plus Strong customer-service skills Strong sales and communication abilities Ability to build customer trust and long-term relationships Ability to explain automotive repairs in understandable language Excellent organizational skills Strong multitasking abilities Comfortable working in a busy dealership service environment Computer and dealership software proficiency Ability to work effectively with technicians, Parts and Service Management High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

FORD OR KIA EXPERIENCE?

EVEN BETTER. Service Advisors with previous Ford or Kia dealership experience are strongly encouraged to apply. But we're also interested in successful advisors coming from Chevrolet, GM, CDJR, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai and other automotive dealership backgrounds. If you already know how to write service, sell legitimate maintenance and repair work, manage customers and keep a busy shop moving , we want to talk with you.
