Join our dynamic team as a Ford Certified Auto Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in automotive repair and customer satisfaction. As a key player in our service department, you will utilize your advanced skills to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and performance. Your certification signifies your mastery of Ford-specific systems and your commitment to delivering top-tier service. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components including transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive suspension systems to restore optimal vehicle performance. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, brake repairs, and vehicle inspections. Repair and replace mechanical systems including air brakes, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto body components, and auto electrical systems with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic issues effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle quality meets manufacturer specifications. Experience Proven dealership experience as an automotive technician with Ford certification or equivalent credentials. Extensive background working with automotive diagnostics, transmissions, powertrain systems, suspension repair, and diesel engine repair. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, auto body repair processes, auto estimating software, and heavy equipment mechanics is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes and tire services. Experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on mechanical systems repair and automotive electrical systems. Knowledge of schematics interpretation for complex vehicle systems troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
