Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently. Repair or replace powertrain components, and perform wheel alignments to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized equipment to execute repairs with precision. Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in top condition. Perform State inspections and Emissions Skills Proven dealership or service center experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, diesel engines, and powertrain components. Skilled in reading schematics and using diagnostic software for automotive diagnostics. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Customer service skills that foster trust and satisfaction through clear communication and professional conduct. Ability to work efficiently on ALL vehicles or other makes with a focus on quality repairs and safety standards.
