Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely and reliably, providing exceptional service that keeps them coming back. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive systems, utilize advanced diagnostic tools, and develop your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including powertrain systems, transmissions, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently. Service vehicles by replacing parts, performing alignments, wheel balancing, and ensuring proper vehicle maintenance procedures are followed. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and ADAS technology. Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures including wheel alignment, transmission servicing, and powertrain diagnostics. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical devices effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills. Valid automotive technician certification or equivalent experience; ASE certification is a plus.
