Duties:
Must have State Inspection License Mechanic needed for our Jo-Dan Motors location in Plains, PA
  • Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and suspension issues.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any additional repairs or maintenance needed.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle problems.
  • Complete repairs efficiently and effectively, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations to customers in a clear and friendly manner.
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a GM automotive technician or mechanic is preferred.
  • Proficiency in performing auto body repairs, including welding and painting.
  • Strong knowledge of GM vehicles and their specific repair requirements.
  • Ability to operate diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose complex vehicle problems.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs and maintenance.
  • Good communication skills to interact with customers and explain repairs clearly.
