Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, transmission, powertrain, suspension, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing or repairing faulty components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, electrical wiring, and other mechanical parts. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to troubleshoot complex electrical problems. Conduct wheel alignments and vehicle suspension system repairs to ensure proper handling and safety standards. Use power tools and hand tools efficiently to perform repairs with precision and safety. Diagnose diesel engines and perform related repairs to meet manufacturer specifications. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely vehicle turnaround while providing excellent customer service throughout the process. Experience Proven dealership or service center experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrain components, and vehicle systems diagnostics. Hands-on experience with automotive repair tools, diagnostic equipment, welding equipment, and power tools. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required. Demonstrated ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately. Previous experience performing vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, suspension work, and transmission repairs.
