Auto Mechanic/ Technician

Job Description

Full-Time | $25
  • 40 per hour | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Shannon Motors is seeking an experienced and dependable Automotive Mechanic/Technician to join our team.
This position focuses primarily on internal repairs to prepare vehicles for the sales lot, with some customer-pay work as needed. Enjoy steady work, consistent hours, and a climate-controlled shop in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair:
  • Brake systems
  • Exhaust systems
  • Suspension & steering systems
  • Cooling system issues
  • HVAC systems
  • Power windows & power door locks
  • TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)
  • Drivetrain components
  • Ignition system issues
  • Emission system concerns Prepare vehicles for retail sale Document repairs and parts used Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Requirements:
Automotive repair experience required Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently Valid driver's license Basic tool set (specialty tools provided) RI state inspection license preferred (we provide the opportunity to obtain if you do not have one)
