Job Description
Delivery Drivers needed - Serious Inquiries Only- Candidates MUST want to work! We are looking for experienced drivers with at least 2-3 years experience within the past 5 years. We are an independent contractor for Fed Ex Ground. As a Fed Ex Ground driver you will report daily to the terminal in Johnston. The routes are in the South County RI area. Prefer that driver knows/is familiar with South County. You will be responsible to deliver ALL packages and also pick up ALL packages before returning to the terminal at the end of the day.
Your duties will include:
Inspection of the truck before leaving the terminal each morning and again when you return at the end of the day, delivering/picking up ALL packages. Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs and drive step vans. You are also required to provide excellent customer service. We have full and part time positions available. We operate 7 days a week you will be required to work weekends. In order to qualify you must possess all of the following: Valid Drivers license Clean driving record Clean Criminal record Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs, drive step vans Driving experience (must be 2-3 years driving experience within the last 5 years driving, we will need to be able to verify this Required to take a drug test & we will run a background check Pay will be hourly and will be discussed at the interview time Must have good work ethics and really want to work
•Employment begins with a 90-day probationary period during which job performance, attendance, and overall fit will be evaluated. Successful completion of the probationary period is required for continued employment.
