Bob Mills Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Automotive / Service Technician to join their busy shop.

Full Time Pay:

Responsibilities Accurate Diagnosis:
Efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and computer-system issues to pinpoint necessary repairs.
Quality Repair Execution:
Perform routine maintenance and advanced automotive repairs — including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspensions — ensuring the job is done right the first time. Adherence to
Standards:
Complete all service procedures in strict compliance with dealership guidelines, manufacturer specifications, and safety regulations.
Clear Team Communication:
Maintain open lines of communication with Service Advisors and Managers regarding repair status, parts requirements, and any additional safety concerns discovered.
Documentation & Logging:
Accurately document all work performed, diagnostic steps taken, and time tracking on designated repair orders.
Continuous Learning:
Participate in ongoing manufacturer and ASE training workshops to keep skills sharp and certifications up to date.
Shop Safety & Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized bay, follow all OSHA safety protocols, and immediately report any equipment malfunctions to management.
Qualifications Experience:
2+ years of automotive technician or mechanic experience in a dealership or shop environment.
Tools:
Must possess a personal set of tools to effectively manage and operate your bay.
Certifications:
ASE or OEM certifications are highly preferred (but not required).
Age & License:
21+ years old with a valid driver's license and a clean, solid driving history.
Physical Stamina:
Able to comfortably perform the physical duties required in a high-volume, fast-paced shop.
