In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout their automotive repair experience. Your expertise in automotive services will help guide customers through their vehicle needs, ensuring they receive the best possible care and solutions. Duties Greet customers upon arrival and assess their automotive service needs. Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services based on customer input and mechanical knowledge. Utilize strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle issues and recommended services. Process payments and handle cash transactions with precision. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and transactions. Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while keeping customers informed throughout the process. Assist in sales efforts by promoting additional services or products that may benefit the customer's vehicle. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to automotive repair and customer service. Requirements Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the automotive industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of auto body repair and brake repair processes. Familiarity with auto estimating techniques and service writing practices. Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Sales experience is a plus, particularly in automotive sales or related fields. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
