MECHANIC

Simpsonville, SC Job description: Ditch Witch of the Carolinas, an industry leader in sales and service of Ditch Witch and American Auger underground utility & construction equipment, Subsite Electronics, Hammerhead piercing tools, Morbark chippers, and stump grinders, has served the Carolinas since 1974 with headquarters in Charlotte, NC and three full-service branches in South Carolina. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for effectively troubleshooting, inspecting, estimating, repairing, servicing and testing our full line of equipment starting with the compact line with the opportunity to advance to the full-line including directional drills and vac trucks and field service.

Job Requirements:

Must have own tools Diesel and hydraulic experience is a plus, preferably with chippers, stump grinders, skid-steer loaders, trenchers, or agricultural equipment Insurable based on 3-year driving record Basic computer skills; can look up parts on manufacturer portals, text and email, take photos and attach to repair orders Committed to safety and to providing a consistently high level of customer service
