Job Description

Overview Tigers Ford is seeking talented Ford Certified Technicians. Up to $15K SIGN ON BONUS, with the right certifications. In this you will utilize your mechanical expertise and technical proficiency to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems. Whether working on engine performance, electrical systems, or suspension components, you'll ensure every vehicle leaves our shop in optimal condition, providing safety and reliability to our valued customers. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to apply your hands-on skills in a fast-paced environment that values quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and interpret automotive wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Conduct vehicle inspections and perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and tire rotations. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to execute repairs with precision. Diagnose complex mechanical problems on GM vehicles and other makes using schematics and technical manuals. Repair vehicle transmission systems, diesel engines, and perform welding or fabrication work as needed. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, estimated timelines, and service recommendations to ensure excellent customer service. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician experience in an automotive repair environment. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical wiring, suspension, and transmissions. Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and the ability to interpret automotive electrical systems diagrams. Experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment procedures, and vehicle transmission system repair. Knowledge of diesel engine repair techniques is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to estimate repairs accurately using auto estimating software. Embark on a career where your technical skills drive success! $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
