Automotive Service Advisor - Ford of Columbia Ford of Columbia | Columbia, TN Full-Time | Competitive Pay + Benefits Ford of Columbia is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our team. We're looking for someone who knows how to take care of customers, communicate well, and keep things moving in a busy service department. You don't need to sound like a salesperson. You need to listen to customers, be upfront with them, and make sure they know what's happening with their vehicle. Our advisors work closely with our technicians and parts department throughout the day. Communication and follow-through are a big deal here. What You'll Be Doing Greet customers and get their vehicles checked in Listen to customer concerns and make sure the technician has the information they need Keep customers updated throughout the repair process Review technician recommendations and explain repairs clearly Write and manage repair orders Work with technicians and parts to keep jobs moving Follow up with customers and make sure nothing gets dropped Handle customer concerns when they come up Build relationships with customers so they continue servicing with us Maintain accurate notes and documentation What We're Looking For Previous automotive Service Advisor experience is preferred. Ford experience is a plus, but it isn't required. More importantly, we want someone who communicates, follows through, stays organized, and takes care of their customers. You should be comfortable in a busy service drive and able to work well with technicians, parts employees, and other advisors.
