Competitive, Based on Experience Job Description We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join a local automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and take pride in providing quality workmanship. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and automotive repairs Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues Perform brake, suspension, steering, and engine repairs Conduct oil changes, tire services, and other preventative maintenance Inspect vehicles and identify necessary repairs Use diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools safely Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate repair needs and recommendations clearly Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards Qualifications At least 2 years of automotive mechanic experience preferred Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues Experience using automotive tools and diagnostic equipment Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Valid driver's license Ability to work independently and as part of a team ASE certification is a plus but not required Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods Ability to lift and move automotive parts and equipment Ability to work in a shop environment around tools, vehicles, and automotive fluids What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time hours Opportunity for long-term employment Hands-on work in a professional automotive environment Potential for advancement and increased responsibility If you have automotive repair experience and are looking for a stable opportunity with a local company, we encourage you to apply!
