Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and interpret automotive wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspension systems, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and tire rotations with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently. Read schematics and automotive electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex wiring and electronic system problems. Repair diesel engines and perform vehicle transmission system repairs to ensure optimal performance. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven dealership or service center experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair across various vehicle makes and models. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and tools for accurate troubleshooting. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus. Knowledge of vehicle suspension system repair, wheel alignment procedures, and vehicle transmission systems. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics confidently.
