The right candidate has strong mechanical skills, hands on experience removing and reinstalling automatic transmissions, and a focus on productivity and efficiency. Responsibilities include safely and efficiently removing and reinstalling automatic transmissions on cars trucks and SUVs, removing and installing related drivetrain components including transfer cases differentials torque converters and drive shafts, inspecting mechanical electrical and hydraulic components related to the transmission system, working closely with the builder and transmission manager to ensure accuracy and timely turnaround, and keeping the assigned work area and stall clean safe and organized. Located in Arlington TX at 4209 Barnett Blvd with easy access via major DFW roadways, enjoy commutes from surrounding communities including Fort Worth Grand Prairie Mansfield and the greater Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. Arlington offers a central Mid Cities location with a strong independent transmission shop market. Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of proven hands-on experience as a transmission R and R technician or general automotive repair technician, a complete personal set of hand pneumatic and power tools suitable for automotive repair, and a willingness to relocate to Arlington TX.
