Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaves our shop in optimal condition, providing safe and reliable transportation for our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive systems, utilize advanced diagnostic tools, and contribute to a team dedicated to excellence in automotive service. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Execute maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Repair and replace automotive electrical components, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and other specialized equipment. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership settings preferred. Extensive knowledge of automotive mechanical systems including diesel engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and powertrain components. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation for accurate troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with heavy equipment mechanics and diesel mechanics is highly desirable. Ability to perform precise repairs such as brake repair, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement, and oil changes efficiently. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems including ADAS technology is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent hand tool skills and familiarity with welding techniques. Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training; ASE certification is preferred.
