Straightline Automotive is hiring an experienced automotive technician who can diagnose problems accurately and complete quality repairs. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows through on repairs, and communicates clearly with the team. You'll work in an air-conditioned shop with a consistent schedule and pay that recognizes your experience and diagnostic skills. In this role, you will: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using diagnostic equipment, service information, and proper testing procedures. Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, brakes, steering, suspension, cooling systems, and other vehicle components. Inspect vehicles and clearly communicate repair recommendations, parts needs, and any additional concerns. Document diagnostic findings and completed repairs. Verify that repairs resolve the original concern through testing and road checks. Keep your work area organized and follow safe shop practices. We're looking for a technician with: Professional automotive repair experience and demonstrated diagnostic ability. Confidence using scan tools, reading wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting vehicle problems. The ability to work independently and manage assigned repairs. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job correctly. Dependable attendance, clear communication, and a willingness to work with the team.
