Description:
City Limits Subaru is looking for a Lube Technician Summary The Technician performs basic maintenance on customer vehicles as outlined through factory and/or dealership maintenance programs. Primary goals are safe, efficient performance of all maintenance and repair tasks as defined in the dealership processes and policies. Duties & Responsibilities Performs basic maintenance and light repairs on customer vehicles. Conducts multipoint inspection videos of customer vehicles to identify and communicate needed maintenance services and repairs. Follows all required safety and hazardous materials procedures as required by the dealership policies and applicable laws and regulations. Uses and maintains dealership-provided tools and equipment in proper operating conditions. Documents inspection findings and maintenance requirements clearly and accurately and communicates them to the service advisor/ASM. Communicates proactively with other associates to ensure a smooth, safe flow of work throughout the shop. Quality checks their own work and the work of other Technicians as requested.
Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications 6 months prior professional automotive experience Competent knowledge of automotive technology and related tools and equipment High school diploma or GED 4 years clear driving record- No previous DUI history or moving violations Valid driver's license No criminal background history Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competencies Detail oriented with multi-tasking ability Good customer service focus Good communication skills Knowledgeable of repairs, tools and equipment Exceptional problem-solving skills Work Environment This job operates in various types of vehicles and business environments that may include loud noises, odors or weather conditions. Driving is mostly during the day but could be required to drive in low light conditions. Physical Demands Work on and repair a variety of vehicles in inclement weather and may often be in uncomfortable positions. May sit, stoop, crawl, bend, walk or stand for long periods of time in all weather and temperature conditions. Repetitive use of arms and legs and moving the whole body such as standing, climbing, lifting, balancing, crawling, walking, stooping, reaching, pushing, grasping, hearing, seeing and talking. Technicians will commonly lift up to 50 lbs. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically rotating Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. Evening, Holiday and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel This position requires no extended travel beyond delivery areas. Valid driver's license is required, and all applicants must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check prior to employment.
