Overview We are looking for a true diagnostic technician — someone who can accurately diagnose difficult problems, perform high-level repairs, and take ownership of jobs from diagnosis through completion. This is not an entry-level position . What We're Looking For The ideal candidate should be highly experienced with: Advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics Check-engine lights and complex diagnostic issues Gasoline engine diagnosis and repair Diesel diagnosis and repair experience is a strong plus Engine repair and replacement Timing components and internal engine repairs Transmission diagnosis and replacement Steering and suspension Brake systems, including ABS HVAC and A/C diagnostics Cooling systems Starting and charging systems Electrical shorts, parasitic draws, wiring and communication issues Using professional scan tools, scopes, meters and service information Reading wiring diagrams and following proper diagnostic procedures Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional automotive repair experience preferred Strong diagnostic ability is required ASE certifications are strongly preferred Must have your own professional technician tools Valid driver's license Able to work independently without constant supervision Must properly document findings and recommended repairs Must perform quality work and verify repairs before the vehicle leaves Must work well with service advisors and other technicians Dependable, professional and accountable Compensation Competitive flag-rate compensation based on experience, certifications and diagnostic ability. PM Saturday:

Briefly describe one difficult electrical, drivability, or mechanical problem you personally diagnosed. What was the customer's complaint, what testing did you perform, and what did you determine was the root cause? Do you have professional experience diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability problems without requiring another technician to diagnose the vehicle for you? Do you have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record? Do you own the professional hand tools necessary to perform automotive diagnostics and major mechanical repairs?
