Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. Texas State Vehicle Inspection License Required . The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for vehicle maintenance. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing oil changes, fluid checks, and other essential maintenance services to ensure the optimal performance of our customers' vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform oil changes and replace filters in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks including fluid levels, tire pressure, and battery health. Utilize automotive diagnostic tools to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Assist customers with questions regarding services and provide recommendations based on their vehicle needs. Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure timely completion of all tasks. Document all services performed and maintain accurate records for each vehicle serviced. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and familiarity with various types of service equipment. Previous experience in performing oil changes and routine maintenance tasks. Ability to lift heavy objects as required during service procedures. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Experience working in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred but not required. A background in sales is a plus, as you may assist in promoting additional services to customers.
