As an RV Service Technician, you'll enjoy: Competitive pay based on experience and certifications Consistent, year-round work Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Employee discount at the NRS Store (tack, feed, apparel, boots, home décor, and more) A team-oriented, supportive shop environment Opportunities for certification growth and advancement Key Responsibilities - RV Service Technician As an RV Service Technician, you will: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair RV and trailer systems Perform repairs on LP gas systems, appliances, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical Work with 12V and 120VAC electrical systems Complete living-quarters repairs including refrigerators, generators, water heaters, and AC units Perform brake, axle, and bearing service Complete warranty repairs requiring Onan, Dometic, and manufacturer certifications Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Document repairs accurately and communicate with service advisors as needed Preferred Qualifications The ideal RV Service Technician will have: RVIA certification or equivalent experience (preferred, not required) Experience with Onan generators, Dometic systems, and RV appliances Strong electrical, plumbing, and LP system knowledge Ability to troubleshoot schematics and electrical shorts Welding or fabrication experience (aluminum or steel) a plus A strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and grow as technology evolves Physical & Job Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to bend, stoop, climb stairs, and work in shop environments Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to move, drive, or tow RVs and trailers as needed Reliable transportation to and from work
