This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy duty trucks and trailers across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical expertise, experience with heavy machinery, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. A background in heavy truck service and diagnostics is highly desirable. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile fleet vehicles including trucks and trailers Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and hands-on inspection techniques Repair or replace brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, air brakes, HVAC systems, shocks & struts, and other vehicle components Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform repairs with precision and safety Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities in compliance with company standards Ensure all work meets safety regulations and industry standards for heavy equipment operation and vehicle maintenance Assist with troubleshooting electrical systems including soldering and wiring repairs Support preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan Skills Extensive experience with truck and trailer diagnostics and repair in dealership or heavy equipment environments Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including transmissions, hydraulics, suspension, steering, HVAC systems, diesel engines, and electrical components Proficiency with schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex issues Hands-on experience with heavy machinery such as trucks and trailers Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures for both light-duty vehicles and large industrial equipment Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with strong customer service orientation for internal clients or external customers when necessary Capable of working independently in diverse environments while adhering to safety protocols This position requires a motivated individual with a comprehensive skill set in vehicle repair and maintenance. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic combined with technical proficiency to ensure the reliability of our fleet operations.

Pay:

$24.00 - $32.00 per hour
