Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team! In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm and expertise will ensure a seamless customer experience, from initial vehicle intake to service completion. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge, dealership experience, and automotive diagnostics skills to accurately assess vehicle needs, recommend appropriate services, and communicate effectively with both customers and technicians. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine sales acumen with technical understanding, ensuring customer satisfaction while driving business growth.

In person Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, utilizing automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge to identify issues Prepare detailed auto estimates using computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software and explain repair options clearly to customers Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, suspension work, or transmission repairs to maximize customer value and dealership revenue Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services Maintain accurate service writing records, process cash handling transactions, and manage customer invoices efficiently Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, explaining repair procedures, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the service process Qualifications Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in a similar auto service management role within a dealership environment Strong mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics, collision repair, oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, transmissions, shocks & struts, air brakes, alignment, suspension work, diesel engine repair, and auto body repair Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in understandable terms Demonstrated ability in auto estimating software and service writing processes Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive various vehicle types confidently Knowledge of automotive repair procedures including computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Customer service-oriented mindset with sales skills for upselling additional services effectively Mechanical knowledge complemented by dealership or service technician experience is highly desirable Join us in delivering outstanding automotive care!
