Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical, suspension, and transmission. Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs (diesel engines included), transmission system repairs, suspension system adjustments, and alignment services. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components with precision. Maintain detailed service records, complete repair reports, and ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and suspension components. Proficiency in interpreting automotive wiring diagrams and schematics for troubleshooting complex electrical issues. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostic tools and software used for diagnosing modern vehicle systems. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work efficiently using hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment in a fast-paced environment. Fabrication, and ability to weld a plus.
