Group 1 Automotive is seeking experienced Main Line Automotive Technicians in Lubbock. Diagnose and repair complex automotive systems including engine, transmission, drivability, electrical, HVAC, suspension, and braking systems Perform advanced diagnostics using professional scan tools and testing equipment Independently manage assigned bay(s), repair orders, and workflow Accurately document diagnostics, repair recommendations, and completed work Collaborate with service advisors to explain repair needs and timelines Maintain productivity and quality in a flat‑rate or performance‑based environment Adhere to shop safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace Master Technicians and advanced diagnostic techs strongly encouraged to apply 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience Proven ability to independently manage workflow and repairs Strong diagnostic skills with minimal supervision Solid understanding of: Electrical systems Engine and drivability diagnostics Suspension, steering, braking, and HVAC systems Experience performing major repairs in an OEM dealership environment Own professional-grade tools required for main line technician work Valid driver's license with clean driving record
