Job Summary:
The Quick Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic automotive services and maintenance tasks efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt and quality service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oil Changes:
Perform quick and efficient oil changes using the appropriate tools and equipment.
Fluid Checks:
Check and top off essential fluids such as transmission fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and coolant.
Filter Replacements:
Replace oil filters, air filters, and other filters as needed.
Tire Services:
Rotate tires, check tire pressure, and perform basic tire services.
Visual Inspections:
Conduct visual inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and inform customers of any necessary repairs or maintenance.
Customer Interaction:
Communicate effectively with customers, providing information about services performed and addressing any questions or concerns.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of services performed and recommendations for future maintenance.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License. State Inspector Certification (We will pay for the class for non-certified individuals). Proven experience in vehicle inspections. Strong knowledge of Texas DPS regulations. Excellent communication skills with both the team and customers. Detail-oriented with a commitment to upholding safety standards.
