General Laborer :

Magic Valley Roadside Assistance & Services is seeking a reliable and motivated Roadside Assistance Technician / General Laborer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who is willing to learn and take on a variety of tasks. In this role, you will provide essential roadside assistance services such as towing vehicles, repairing flat tires, changing batteries, and performing light mechanic work. Additionally, you may assist with part-time maintenance and general labor tasks as needed. Work will take place throughout Hidalgo, Willacy, Starr, and Cameron Counties, so flexibility and dependability are key.

Responsibilities:

Respond to roadside service calls in a timely and professional manner. Tow disabled vehicles safely and securely. Repair or replace flat tires on-site. Jump-start or change out vehicle batteries. Perform light mechanic work as required. Assist with general labor and maintenance tasks when needed. Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain company equipment and tools in good working condition.

Schedule:

Hours vary depending on service calls. Must be flexible and available on short notice.

Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must pass a background check Ability to lift and move heavy objects (tires, tools, batteries, etc.). Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to safety. Reliable transportation to job sites.

Compensation:

$10.00/hr

•$16.00/hr, depending on experience and skills. Position is paid as 1099 (independent contractor)
