In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing high-quality audio systems and related electronic components in a variety of vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive technology and audio systems to showcase their skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Responsibilities Install custom car audio systems, including speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, and multimedia units, ensuring precise fitment and optimal performance Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to correctly wire electrical components and integrate new systems seamlessly with existing vehicle electronics Diagnose electrical issues using automotive diagnostic tools and troubleshoot system malfunctions efficiently Conduct vehicle inspections to assess compatibility of audio components with vehicle systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), powertrain, suspension, and transmission systems Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to electrical systems, including wiring repairs, system upgrades, and integration with vehicle systems like GM vehicles or diesel engines Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete installations and repairs with precision Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice on system options, and ensure a positive service experience Qualifications Proven experience in dealership or automotive service environments with a focus on automotive electrical systems and audio installations Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, suspension, transmission, and vehicle maintenance procedures Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques for electrical issues Hands-on experience with vehicle system repairs such as ADAS calibration, alignment, wheel sensors, or transmission repair is preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Knowledge of GM vehicles or diesel engine repair is a plus but not required Valid mechanic or service technician license or certification is advantageous Join us in delivering exceptional automotive upgrades by combining your technical proficiency with your passion for cars.
