Responsibilities Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with state regulations, ensuring compliance with all safety standards. Perform routine lubrication services, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs using appropriate hand tools and power tools. Utilize mechanical knowledge to identify potential issues and communicate findings effectively to the service team. Assist with basic automotive repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, supporting the overall workflow of the service department. Handle heavy lifting safely when moving or positioning vehicle parts or equipment during inspections or repairs. Maintain accurate records of inspections, services performed, and parts used for each vehicle. Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, organized, and in proper working condition. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment. Experience with auto body repair or auto restoration is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during vehicle servicing tasks. Knowledge of automotive inspection procedures and safety standards required by state regulations. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance in every task performed. Mechanic experience or prior auto repair background is highly desirable for success in this role.
