Black Optix Tint - Spring is looking for a hands-on installer who takes pride in clean wiring, careful workmanship, and getting every detail right. If you have experience with car audio, 12-volt electronics, or automotive accessories, we'd like to meet you. Your primary focus will be automotive electronics and accessory installation. You'll also have the opportunity to expand your skills through cross-training in window tinting and other shop services. A willingness to learn tinting is required; prior tinting experience is not.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Install stereos, speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, and related audio components. Install dash cameras, backup cameras, lighting, and automotive accessories. Install alarms, remote starts, and vehicle integration components within your training and experience. Diagnose wiring and installation issues using a multimeter, wiring diagrams, and vehicle-specific information. Make secure connections with proper grounding, fusing, circuit protection, and neat cable routing. Remove and reinstall interior panels carefully while protecting customer vehicles. Test installed equipment and affected vehicle functions, check finished work, and explain operation to customers. Communicate job progress, parts needs, and any concerns with the manager and coworkers. Keep tools, materials, and work areas clean and organized.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Hands-on experience with 12-volt electronics, car audio, or automotive accessory installation. Understanding of automotive electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, grounding, fusing, and multimeter use. Attention to detail and the judgment to ask for guidance before attempting unfamiliar work. Reliability, organization, and professional communication with customers and coworkers. Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and share your skills with teammates. High school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license. Ability to perform hands-on installation work, with reasonable accommodation as needed. MECP certification is welcome but not required. Experience with window tint, PPF, wraps, detailing, ceramic coatings, suspension, or tire installation is a plus. You do not need experience in every service.
CROSS-TRAINING & TEAMWORK
We're looking for someone who wants to contribute to the whole shop. Alongside your installation work, you'll learn automotive window tinting, help teammates as trained and qualified, and engage professionally with customers. You'll also help capture photos and videos showcasing our work for social media and marketing.

Our services include automotive and architectural tint, detailing, ceramic coatings, paint protection film, wraps, car audio, and accessories. As the business grows, there will be opportunities to develop additional installation skills and take on greater responsibility.
