We are specifically looking for someone who understands Volvo vehicles, Volvo diagnostics, factory repair procedures, and the level of precision Volvo customers expect. This is a great opportunity for a technician with Volvo dealership experience, European import experience, or strong diagnostic ability who wants to grow with a family-owned automotive group in Central Texas. What You'll Do As a Volvo Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain Volvo vehicles using proper factory procedures and modern diagnostic tools. You'll work on everything from maintenance and repairs to electrical diagnostics, drivability concerns, software-related issues, safety systems, and Volvo's advanced technology platforms. You'll be part of a professional service department focused on doing repairs right, taking care of customers, and supporting technicians with the tools, training, and leadership needed to succeed. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair Volvo vehicles accurately and efficiently Perform maintenance, inspections, warranty repairs, and customer-pay repairs Use Volvo diagnostic processes and factory service information Handle electrical, drivability, suspension, brake, engine, transmission, and software-related concerns Document repair findings clearly and professionally Communicate with service advisors and leadership on needed repairs and timelines Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Continue developing Volvo product and repair knowledge What We're Looking For Volvo technician experience preferred Volvo factory certification is a strong plus European import technician experience will be considered Strong diagnostic skills, especially electrical and drivability Ability to follow factory repair procedures High attention to detail Valid driver's license and clean driving record Professional attitude and team-first mindset ASE certifications are a plus Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has worked in a Volvo dealership or European service environment and understands that Volvo repairs require accuracy, patience, and proper process. You know your way around modern vehicle systems, scan tools, diagnostics, software updates, safety technology, and customer expectations. You don't just replace parts.
