Overall, the ideal candidate should be motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service while possessing the necessary technical skills and certifications for automotive maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities:
Receiving and carrying out Repair Orders. Performing entry-level maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, etc. Conducting diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs. Providing labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services. Performing video multi-point inspections on vehicles. Performing Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles. Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services. Maintaining an organized, clean workspace and accounting for tools. Communicating effectively with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees. Participating in ongoing training programs to develop expertise in automotive technologies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. At least one year of relevant experience preferred. Knowledge of automotive servicing or repair desired. Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record required. Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles. Neat, clean, and professional appearance. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff. Professionalism and dependability. Safety and customer service orientation. Basic computer and internet skills. Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects. Certification as a state inspector is a plus.
