Job Description

Grubbs is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will diagnose, service, and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles, and maintaining the shop quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair vehicles based on experience, test results, and manufacturer guidelines Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections Conduct pre-delivery service checks on new vehicles Communicate findings and service recommendations to service advisors and customers Keep vehicles and workspaces clean during and after repairs Help maintain shop organization, safety, and inventory levels Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time Attend training sessions and staff meetings
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Minimum 1 year of automotive technician experience in a dealership or large facility (preferred Nissan) ASE certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Valid driver's license with a clean record Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and technical skills Positive attitude with great communication and teamwork abilities Must be able to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods Grubbs maintains a strong policy of Equal Employment Opportunity for all associates.
