Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for all aspects of tire related services and repairs for passenger, and light tires at the store location.
Pay:
$18-22 DOE
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Dismounts and mounts passenger, and light tires to industry standards. Determines repairable tire conditions and makes needed repairs per TIA specifications. Mounts and safely inflates tires to prescribed PSI, per load requirements. Operates all related tire service equipment including but not limited to; jacks, compressors, electric and hydraulic equipment. Safely drives and operates company vehicles. Properly completes and submits required billing documents to Store Manager and Assistant Manager. Utilizes all safety related PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, etc., while doing any work. Maintains an organized and clean workspace; stacking tires, sweeping, etc. Ensures compliance with safety requirements as outlined by the company, along with those specified in OSHA and MSHA regulations pertaining to this position. Regularly attends all staff trainings and meetings as required. Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience Automotive industry experience preferred Valid Driver's license and insurability required at all times Fork Lift Certification required. Training provided upon hire. TIA Certification required within 1 year of date of hire. MSHA Certification NOT required. Commercial Driver's Licensed NOT required. Must be able to understand instructions and recognize hazardous or poisonous materials and/or products. There may be exposure to fumes, dust, and/or odors.
