Benefits Job Summary:

Sturgeon Transport is seeking a skilled Trailer Shop Mechanic to join our team in Brandy Station, VA. The mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of trailers to ensure safety and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair trailer systems (brakes, suspensions, electrical, hydraulics) Perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance Conduct welding and fabrication for structural repairs Complete work orders and maintain a clean, safe shop environment

Qualifications:

2+ years of trailer or heavy-duty repair experience Strong knowledge of brakes, suspensions, wheel ends and electrical systems Welding/fabrication experience preferred Must provide own tools (specialty tools provided by shop) CDL preferred but not required
