Full-Time Pay:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Service Technician to join our team. The General Service Technician is primarily responsible for tire services, preventive maintenance, oil changes, and light-duty automotive repairs while delivering quality customer service and maintaining a safe, clean, and professional work environment. Key Responsibilities Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotations, installations, and tire repairs. Perform oil changes, fluid services, and other routine preventive maintenance. Replace batteries, bulbs, wiper blades, filters, and other light-duty automotive components. Properly inspect tires for wear, damage, and safety concerns and communicate any concerns to the Service Writer or Manager. Test-drive vehicles as needed to verify completed services. Communicate vehicle or tire concerns and recommended services to the Service Writer or Manager. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Follow all applicable OSHA, state, local, and company safety regulations and procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe service area. Properly use, maintain, and care for shop equipment and tools. Assist with inventory management and maintaining adequate shop supplies. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a professional, team-oriented work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Valid State Inspection License, if required for the position. Previous automotive service experience preferred. Passenger-vehicle tire service experience preferred. Must provide and maintain your own required hand tools. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
