Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure vehicles meet safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs with precision. Work on diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics when required, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and auto body repairs. Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics during repairs; ensure all work complies with dealership or industry standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair. Dealership experience is highly preferred, especially familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, air brake systems, transmissions, and suspension repairs. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, auto estimating procedures, and auto body repair techniques is advantageous. Skilled in using various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service technology. Certification or training in diesel engine repair, heavy equipment mechanics, or automotive electrical systems is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
