Description:
Tiger is looking for an outstanding individual to join our team and contribute to the company's legacy of service and safety as a Propane Service Technician with CDL (Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements). No CDL? No problem! Tiger will support your education to gain a CDL with our internal programs. This is a great opportunity for a customer-focused, mechanically inclined person. Propane service technicians are hands on! You'll be doing everything from setting tanks and running lines, to fine-tuning propane appliances and equipment. You'll get to work independently, with other Tiger teammates, with contractors, and most importantly, our amazing customers. Every day is different as you get to work with a wide variety of equipment and people. A Class B CDL, or intent to obtain a CDL, is a requirement for this exciting opportunity with Tiger.
Job Duties:
Installs, repairs and maintains propane distribution systems for retail customers. Tank deliveries utilizing flatbed truck with CDL requirement Responsible for providing emergency response and system installation and testing. Provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries during daily interactions. Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies or routine maintenance. Maintains a clean and orderly work area and vehicle by keeping tools, equipment and materials in proper places Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Operates vehicle in accordance to established safety procedures. Loads, secures, transports, delivers and unloads propane equipment to and from specified destinations. Requires on-call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent Ideally 2 or more years of experience with installation and repair of propane-based heating systems, equipment and appliances Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and maintaining propane operated appliances Class B CDL license with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements - may be earned after being hired. Clean driving record Drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check required and pre-employment physical.
