JOB SUMMARY

The Master Technician is the top-tier diagnostic and repair expert in our service department, handling the most complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns, performing warranty and recall repairs to Ford specifications, and mentoring the technician team. Ford Senior Master certification is strongly preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnose and repair complex drivability, electrical, transmission, and engine performance issues Perform warranty, recall, and factory-directed repairs to Ford specifications Use advanced diagnostic equipment (Ford IDS, scan tools, oscilloscopes) to pinpoint root causes efficiently Serve as the shop's technical resource and mentor for entry-level and mid-level technicians Partner with the Service Manager on training, workflow planning, and quality control Maintain ASE Master and Ford Senior Master certifications through ongoing factory training Ensure all repairs meet dealership and manufacturer quality and safety standards

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of dealership technician experience with a track record of high-quality, high-volume repairs ASE Master Certification required Ford Senior Master Technician certification required, or in the final stages of completion Extensive knowledge of Ford-specific systems, tools, and diagnostic software Own a complete, professional-grade tool set Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand and bend for extended periods, and work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and seasonal temperature changes.

Pay:

SCHEDULE

Full-time, Monday-Saturday on a rotating schedule, based on dealership service hours.
