Roanoke, VA Job Details Full-time $18 - $25 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Customer communication Interpersonal skills Commercial truck driving Dangerous goods Loader operation Spill response Hazardous materials transportation Skid steer loader Full Job Description Overview Immediate openings for "Environmental Response Technicians" and "CDL Drivers" in Roanoke, VA Office for emergency response and mitigation of environmental hazards to include fuel and oil spills, hazardous materials releases and natural disaster events. Candidate should have clean driving record with ability to obtain CDL with applicable endorsements within 90 days of hire. CDL drivers will need to be able to obtain Tanker and HazMat endorsements. Candidate should possess good verbal and written communication skills to interact with other employees, clients and management. Candidate should have ability to understand and complete tasks as directed. Ability to operate heavy equipment (skid steer loader, backhoe, excavator) is a plus, but not required for this position. Candidates will be subject to background check and pre-employment drug screening. Competitive salary and benefit package available.
