Roanoke, VA | Fleet Service Foreman ​ Since 1969, Eagle Transport has served as an industry leader in the transportation industry, with terminals throughout the eastern United States. Eagle Transport provides transportation of fuel, chemical, and dry bulk products. With our continued expansion and growth in the Southeast, we are looking for key team members to join Eagle in this region. As the Fleet Service Foreman , you'll oversee daily operations of the maintenance shop while performing hands-on tasks related to the maintenance and repair of the terminal's fleet.

Primary Responsibilities:

PM tracking, & coordinating equipment downtime with terminal operations staff Responsible for coordination of any outside repair work completed by vendors Responsible for working with Regional Field Maintenance Manager to control maintenance related costs by effectively managing repair, preventative maintenance, warranty, & purchasing programs. Responsible for inputting purchase & repair data into the fleet maintenance software system

Requirements:

Valid Driver License (Preference for applicants with CDL) 2-5 years experience as a lead or Sr Technician Ability to work on-site between the hours of 7am -5:00pm with rotating after hours on-call rotation Personal toolbox and hand tools necessary to perform required duties. Certifications to perform annual, brake and DOT inspections (ASE Certification a plus)
